I want to make a 400x400 version of the OO logo but I am worried it doesn’t fit in the world xD
256 is the max height as far as I know, at least you cant make higher maps in the Worldbuilder.
Oh and thats from the very bottom to the top. If you want to use all 256 blocks you will have to get rid of thousands of blocks…

as he said. the 258 is not from sea level but rather from the core of the world. atm there is no way to increase it without making the servers unstable. it was discussed on community hub
