Rock Seam Pattern Bug - North & South Facing Placements

Hiya, I’ll provide pictures if needs be, but I’ve never thought this was a bug because I was doing something wrong, but now I’m pretty sure it’s a bug.

If I place any rock tile (meta/sedi/ig) against something else, facing me, then (theoretically) the pattern, or seam, of the rock should flow from block to block, right?

Well … it does on East and West facing placements. However … if you place something facing North or South? Well, it does continue the flow, but only on one horizontal line.

Try it if you like.

That’s a thing for a long time  unfortunate and annoying, hope the devs will look into that at some point

Is it similar to how tilled soil only goes in one direction?

I was trying to place fish scale mosaic the other day and got frustrated because it also only faces North/South and I needed to turn it East/West.

All we need to solve this is a BlockTexture rotation chisel …
