Selecting new site to build

Hi everyone.

I’m new to the game and completed the tutorial for the game and so far am enjoying it. My question may have been answered somewhere else in the forum, but I havent been able to find it. I’ve been trying to figure out how to remove my beacon. I’m trying to move to another area a bit further away, and I can’t figure out how to remove the control beacon.

Also, regarding plots, it says I have 2 plots, however I can only see one (where my beacon and crafting table is placed). I thought it might be underground or underwater where I can’t see it, but I can’t find the other plot, which would make moving impossible if I cannot remove it. I successfully removed others, but can’t get the last two.

Any ideas?

Dig underneath the area your one plot is and use the plot removal tool. That happened to me when I first started.
