When I was a kid, I thought it would be “funny” if in my old age I went back to live in the town where I grew up and thought I could die there with a tombstone that would say :
" 'Tis here that I grew up
'Tis only fitting I’d rot here too"
Doesn’t rhyme in English though.
Now, I’d rather be incinerated, but I would likely still have a tombstone somewhere, dunno how that works.
I’d likely have something dumb on my tombstone like :
“Did I leave the mixer on?”
“Got some gleam? It’s dark down there.”
