I think it does yes as I currently hit 11k with mine on a reg char and only like 5 k with a sling bow that’s without any of the sling bow or fist specific skills
fist dont have skills tho thats the difference I think
They are affected by the grapple skill…
Atleast I think I saw that it increase fist dmg as well in game but the skill calculator doesn’t say it so maybe I was seeing things or it’s glitched.
right but no epics im not sure which is better I just see on my hunts i see bows usually will have to start making fists
I love the fist but I thought the same thing you did that since I see them more frequently they must be better for high lvl chars as I usually don’t use fists on my hunter might have to try though
Fist can be upgraded using grapple mastery (though I’ve heard it hasn’t been working, pretty sure it works for me). I get over 15k hits with a critical and not even max damage. So pretty much everything falls in a shot or two
They’re maybe not the best for meteors, but perusing around it’s nice to always be the boss in a 1v1
do fists forge with bow mods or grapple?
They’re be kind of weird since you can actually put AoE on them, not sure where exactly they fall
They are essentially both a tool and a weapon since they can break blocks and harvest without destroying
since you going to be nearly one shotting things anyways i roll with a shotgun slingbow But might have to try the fists
Fists I would say are gonna be better for exploration, since you can ignore slingbow upgrades in skills and get grapple upgrades at the same time, this allows a few points for something like gathering epic
I’m gonna bow out of this though, it is a question about slingbow

true i was talking for hunts but you right but if you gonna explore dont need to forge fists then?
Seems like hunting and gathering is one of the finer points of the game, I like it
