Sling bow question (answered)

Just curious as to why slingbows forged with dmg + , Crit rate + and crit power + are not a thing? And if they are where I can find some cause I can never find any…
Should those 3 combined be the max dmg you can get on a sling bow?

Crit is gotten through skills IE agility but critical effect is used in some single shots

I crafted a personal set of slingbows with those three effects, I’ve enjoyed using them. Good damage output.

Have you tried multishot or other sling bows? And if so have you noticed an increase in dps with the ones you crafted?

I have multishot one sitting in shop right now 4 in forge multishot buff automatically drops damage by 60% if that is what you are referencing

I used to use nothing but multishot. There are benefits to both. Depends on how you like to play. Multishot suffers against high-armor mobs due to lowered base damage, and require close proximity. Single shots relying on crit means unreliably burst-y damage that means nothing if you miss the shot.

What is the max crit rate you can get through skills it’s 16% how much more can you get from forging? If it’s unreliable idk if it’s worth sacrificing guaranteed dps. This is based off my experiences in other games though so for all I know it might be better idk

Just trying to figure out which style will give more total dps so I know which to buy idc about being up close or far away all I want is as much dmg as possible when I hit the target…

if you hit all its multishot 6 projectile at 40% damage with damage and projectile fall off (more damage) and then get your natrual crit from agility with a strength brew is your best bet you can one shot near anything with that I use it on hunts

Okay will have to go with that option then if it’s the max dps although I might still buy some crit single shots just to play around with them

I carry exactly that… the Witches Brew and Wicked Bits.

If you want tons of power try double gold fists with busy bee, damage+, and crit+. They always have 50% crit chance so every other hit is a homer. Add a good speed brew to that and you can tank groups of pretty much anything.

Does gold fist have more damage than bows?
