This happened to me once in real life. I was outside, many years ago, in Scotland (where I’m from) and I noticed a strange glowing orb in the sky. Apparently it’s called ‘the sun.’

I sacrificed a pigeon to make it go away and I haven’t seen it since.

I think that one is a graphics artifact of an exo — there was a Boori one recently, no? I saw something similar, small but fast and weird-moving, exactly opposite an exo in the sky. I managed to catch the exo when it swung below the horizon, and that ghost rose on the opposite horizon.

Come to think of it, I guess the other “sightings” could be the same kind of exo-nadir-ghost, just look stationary from the more distant planets.

I mean i think the most obvious explanation is just that they are some unintended visual artifact or bug, but outside of that, it could be some kind of deliberate teaser or hint at something, but i dont know what we are supposed to divine from white discs existing in the sky for a period of time.

Yeah, I seen this a month or so ago. I think I was on Ceph at the time. I watched it move across the sky, just assumed it was a glitch in the graphics. 🤷

Now, look. Everyone knows the makrura had their day and cannot objectively be called people anymore.

Ok, this is random and OT, but since meteors were mentioned here (ok I’m stretching it I know  ), I thought I’d ask since I’m really curious if it was a bug or not and didn’t think it worth starting a topic:

Are you supposed to be able to hear meteors crashing through portals? I was at my base on Alder yesterday and was surprised to hear the sound of a meteor landing. :open_mouth: But I realized that I was standing near my Gyosha portal, which was open - did I hear it crashing through there?

I have heard meteors crashing and cuttletrunks on Angel I before and always assumed it was from a nearby portal.

Thanks, good to know! That is pretty cool really!

I get this on Finata, too. It started after the winter event, which had meteors spawning on tier 1&2 planets. I don’t know if it’s a sound glitch stemming from that, or if it’s always just meteors being heard through portals.

Looks like stars on their background image to me.

Or airplane’s landing gear.

yes it looks exactl y like stars, except they are much wider than stars, and dont have the characteristic cross shaped twinkle that stars do. They are technically speaking, Discs

Are the discs a herald of some great doom that is sweeping upon us?!!??!! the Discs of Doom ™
