[Solved] Does ancient corruption...actually corrupt?

Getting into farming and some of my refined gleam and ancient corruption blocks are suddenly…stones? Happening sporadically around my farm as of this morning (farm has been up for nearly 4-5 days now). I checked with the only active player who has access to my beacon and she said it wasn’t her. Blocks are beaconed so it’s not regen (wouldn’t be anyway since stones aren’t natural).

Is this just a gameplay mechanic I didn’t know about that makes ancient corruption a pain to use in farming?

ancient corruption should not be doing that. haven had any probems with my farm

Could have hit the blocks with water or a solidifier. If you solidify lava on a partial block it turns the whole block to ig stone.

Edit: I have done it on accident with water.

Good idea but I don’t have a solidifier…ohhh but above this is a room with water I’ve been working in…I’m guessing the water dropped down and solidified the lava!

Genius, thank you friend!

I think of this as a right of passage that every citizen must go through at least once. Side effects include CONSTANT fear of water whilst working on your inorganic farms
