What have people found to be the very best layers for Rift on the exoplanets? Does the layer vary from Rift planet to Rift planet?
Iirc rift is found “best” between 25-45 acording to the game files… so 30ish sounds good… @Simoyd also has some cool data in a graph that shows the density at each lvl for a sample of 3k rift ^^

I was going to say the exact numbers that Jiivita said, 25-45. I did find a few seams at 21 and 51 but those were rare - not justifying digging whole layers at that altitude.
At 20 it was like mining for amethyst or emerald. Tho I kinda felt that way no matter where I was mining but I didn’t get on the exos till 6hrs after they were live so every area I went to was already mined in.

I gotta say I went to all 3 rift planets and Vandar was the best. The other 2 I didnt spend more than an hour on (mining rift). Going to the mined spots on Vandar yielded better results than fresh spots on Tentaroon. Some people mine randomly, leaving untouched chunks smh.
Yea I don’t understand this jump mining method some people seem to do.
