Some shots from my worldbuilder tests

Yes, got this version! Thank you
The app works quite fine for me (only had one short crash in the client when testing one of the release biomes, but this is not a real problem).

Hey @james, is it still possible to make custom biomes and submit them to you for approval?

If so, how do I do this?

I’d like to see some other type of biomes, but I am not sure how to do it.

Yes - we’d be happy to extend the number of biomes available.

The process is to submit them via Github.

We’d need to review them to make sure they’re suitable to include in the main library exposed for everyone.

Is there any checklist for what to include in a biome before uploading it?

So are we talking just a whole planet made of gleam now? Were the Gleamballs not big enough :joy:

Playing with highmaps.

A highmap i made for a muddy plain for testing.

Added a layer of mud at the top (and some underground strata).

Using modified copy of the highmap to add in 2 different grass at the hights, and inverted ones to add in the third grass as watergrass in the puddles, restrict them to 1 block deep.

Using same technique on grasshights, making the grass to get taller up hills, and the watergrass to get smaller away from water.
And added in trees, flowers and a cave system.

Nice terrain design. Trees in the last pic look like a willow/jungle hybrid. I like :+1:

WOW…
The first (in-game) screenshot looks a lot like a Dutch - “polder landschap”
You may sign me up for this :boundless: biome, very nicely done …
… great work :+1: :+1: :grinning:

Same highmap tecnique to make a icy lakes biome, separated by hexagon walkpaths.

Path, hills, decoration-placement and lakes are all variations of same highmap.

Diving down in the lake.
