Something like Pneumatic tube system to deliver oortians

I propose something like pneumatic tube to deliver not messages, but oortians as a mean of transportation within the same beacon or planet. a craftable tubes could be placed to connect to the other end. Similar to portal, but the distance is limited to the length of the tubes. The system could be powered by beacon fuel, sparks or its own type fuel

The system is designed to transport you normally just like you were saying, it just happens a bug/accident with how the physics work in the game, you can chain the tubes in just a specific way to create a cannon instead.
