I wrote the script which takes the form responses and deals with creating world configs and generating/publishing the worlds; @james was then using the script to generate the worlds as responses came in.
the script is serial… and we got a lot more responses than we expected and not all have been generated by the time @james collapsed from exhaustion (exaggeration) and went to sleep.
I am updating the script now to make it flow more easily and be able to run concurrently to deal with generating worlds for “many” responses more quickly and testing it during the day in the dev-universe and in maybe 3-4 hours @james will likely pick up the mantle and start generating more worlds again (hopefully 16, 20x faster than before!)
Its a bit odd To me that you can give People permission To warp To your sovereign while you can deny Then To gather anything… I warped on few places… Just To realize… Ok i cannot take anything with me.
A bit off a turn off.
Yeah they weren’t going to implement that at first, wasn’t in the first Testing release, but there was a reason raised by some for it so they decided to add this.
My planet has can visit and can edit perms tho!
Were there any specific items you wanted to gather there that you couldn’t? Due to new colours for instance.
If so let me and others know and someone might be able to change to the same colour for that item.
I have finalised my colours now and can change them in a few weeks!
I think it’s a good feature, but it would be nice if there was an indicator that let people know gathering/mining isn’t allowed before they go there. Maybe the planet would have a red glow/ring or a text overlay “Visit Only, Edit Off”
