Sovereign Color selection

Hi there,
Is there a way to see the currently selected colors on Sovereign Planets all clearly?

When I search for unused colors, e.g. for Gleam, it is very tedious to go through all the colors until you find a color that no one has.
There are the colors that you can display for sovereign planets, but there you can’t see which colors are currently on the
Planets are available and which are not.

It would be nice if that was somehow integrated into the display of the colors, that would make the color selection a lot easier. ; )

Also, if you’ve already rented a Sov, you can look through all of the available colors via the World Control.

Edit to add: I guess these only show what’s available on existing planets. More colors may actually be available. I’d look at the world control for accurate availability.

So, since not all of the planets get scanned, or are even accessible via portal, it wouldn’t be super useful to write something to go through all scanned worlds on the API to determine color frequency.

I occasionally do color scans of worlds I am aware of and compile color frequency into a static page I post. My last scan was on Oct 31, but there is a link to it here: Sov Planet Scan Data

It’s not likely to be up to date, since that was 2 months ago, but it’s the best resource for what you are looking for, imo.

I also do color scans of worlds including ones without portals.

Hi there,

First of all thanks for the replies. I also found the pages, thought there was a simple possibility
to search for colors, or all possible colors are displayed that are e.g. for Gleam there
all the gleam colors that are currently in use and the colors that are currently not offered on any of their sovereign planets.
So it would be very easy to choose a color that is currently not available.
Otherwise I have to select every color and see whether it is available on a planet or not. And that with all 255 colors, very time-consuming.

On the list with the Sov Planet Scan Data colors, I find e.g. the color glossy yellow ID: 255 not. I set this up on a planet of mine.
(This planet has been around for 4 or 5 months)

Or how can I scan my own planets and output the colors in an Excel table so that I don’t lose track of 10 planets; )

Thanks in advance for the effort

Hello,
Have now tested Colorscan for my Sovereign, and as result i get e.g. #ceKataan, json file(s), Now its possible to add the Scanned Planets to a list like here on the site?
https://boundless.bdew.net/colors/main/rocks
There are only half of my Planets in this list, how i add the rest? someone know? Or i must send the *,json files to someone for update?
Would very much like to have a color chart of the planets, for easy selecting colors for each Planet.

I usually use this … as I try and scan all sovereigns when asked and it populates there.
