I am having fits running my links from my cores to my machines. I had some already there, and needed to re-route for aesthetics, then when I re-ran my links, they will not connect to the exist ones. I tried to go back to the original design and they will not link back. I’ve logged, re-logged changed toons etc. It just shows red boxes at the connection points like it does not want to attach to exist lines. I mirrored the design on one side of our factory and it worked fine, but the other side which is exactly the same will not connect.
It would be majorly helpful if we could just attach to a machine then add a link to the other side of it and keep going. Its a huge inconvenience and a waste of links to have to wrap all over the place in-between coils and what not, instead of power flowing from one machine and then to the next.

that is not going to happen, that would you let you build an unbounded network of cores and pipes/machines that would be able to grind the server to a halt eventually.
I think hes talking about that if you have two pipes coming out of a spark core from different faces, then each pipe can be 100 blocks in size independent of the other.
its not really anything to do with faces of a spark core, but just that a single linked set of pipe blocks is limited to 100 blocks, and if you are careful you can avoid the pipes from each of the 6 sides from touching eachother so that you get 6 indepdedent 100 block pipes
To resolve my link issue I simply put another generator down and it allowed me to continue on. Also, more basic the line, meaning how many times does it bend vs being straight, helps as well. Got tired of the spark generator connection and took down my intricate spark links in favor of a single line.
So a ‘core’ is a single spark generator in this context?
And what would a ‘core face’ mean? Can 1 spark generator block have multiple connections on many of it’s sides or is it counted as ‘1 face’?
