Special code for Role playing ^^

It would be great to add some special cote for underline the fact that your charater is speaking so nobody will feel uncorfotable whit some words etc  because A player send me a message to tell me it was a roleplaying speech (and I know before he say it to me) because i think he would made me confortable (And I am ) whit his says

sry for bad english guys … i really do my best…

Do you mean sth like italic for when someone is role-playing? So you know someone’s talk is a part of acting and not the actual real person in front of the computer going crazy.

A bit like @Illuminoorti using italic when role playing in the forums.

yep ^^ totaly  italic could somethimes not be seen so maybe a color code or something  maybe in the game chat to like the /e in world of warcraft ^^ or * [rp] [/rp] quote ^^

I can totally see usefulness of that.

Italics can be useful for this, though any sort of additional text code like [rp] [/rp] would likely have to be implemented by the developers of discourse, the makers of this forum engine. Wonderstruck did not design this forum.

As for @Illuminoorti… are we really sure that they’re just role playing, and not actually insane?

Maybe just put

It’s a bit tedious but temp solution that could work

All players deserve this, not just roleplayers, so I vote yes! But something tells me this is prone to be hijacked by abusers to find a specific colour to sell their items in. Just a thought, I really like the idea though.

Maybe just get people into the habit of putting it as "Preformatted text"

^^ that font always reminds me of news articles

That’s a pain to read on mobile. I have to finger scroll all the way through it :frowning:
