Is it just me or does the stamina/energy bar seem to drain faster than it did before this last patch.
Trying to level an alt character for mining has been painful as heck having to stop every min or so.

I thought I noticed something similar but it might just be the absence of the low stamina sound and the fact that I have to let off the button when stamina drains all the way before it will regen.
I have a feeling that max stamina drains faster.

Yes Stamina does seem to go faster also I hate the changes I keep accidentally restarting the stamina refill timer. Bah it was much better before. It makes mining much less relaxing for sure. Not game breaking just annoying. Love the game though Devs!!
The whole restarting thing is actually a bug they’re going to fix in the patch next week.

Also, come buy some earthyam stew for ridiculously cheap, it keeps you from getting hungry for 20mins at a time and is almost* free!

I thought I was imagining it at first, and I’ve repeatedly mentioned it to @decuire to which he insists there’s nothing changed. I swear it does drain way too fast! I know I recently did a small energy point readjustment but there’s no way it should have made it drain that fast. Mining is now painstakingly slow and I’m having to stop every few blocks. I’m about to use gold to mine with, but I dread to think what that will be like on the energy bar! It’s forcing me to use square chisels more leaving me in a position where I’m hardly coming out with any blocks for completing building. 
I’m aware of the timer problem with the refilling of the bar. But if the bar is draining faster Devs need to get it sorted or reverted to before the patch.

If you’re not using gem tools to mine as gorillastomp pointed out, consider getting well fed buffs from food to keep you going a big longer. It doesnt take away that “catch a breath” moment every minute or so though

It probably sounds strange to most who read this, but, I prefer to go basic and I rarely use stuff like that. I go into battles and mine with nothing but cooked food and an ever ready pair of hands and try to use raw finger skills to survive 
To my knowledge I think I’ve only used two stews in the entire time I’ve played on this.
If I were to do it though, it would get costly IMO and…well…I try to save money if I can in any way. Cut out what I deem as not needed. Embrace the grind
But I do know exactly where the burger is. Just waiting for the grand opening. Hope you’ve enjoyed your honeymoon

Hahaha “not a marketing push”, but i try to keep costs as low as I can, which is why I only had basics up before we left. Need to figure out the exact value of lamellas so i can buy and sell them at fair prices; I am swimming in yams though and would do you a better price on them if your oort seriously prefers the more direct nommables

LoL…I’m overrun with them too, hence why I sell them so cheap. I price depending on my stock and how easy they are to obtain. I’ve always got plenty of basic foods, but sometimes I might just buy randomly to help support others. Yeah they’re a tricky one to price. Since certain things have been made more available it’s thrown things up in the air for all shopkeepers I think.
I just eat raw meat to stay full while I’m mining. You aren’t fighting anything down there.
