Hard leather is currently used in all of the lucent tools.

My desired for optional additional mobile storage space is almost as great as my desire for pants/shortsā¦
If not a crafted backpack, perhaps a companion friend, a pet of sorts, packmule, whatever. We would have to defend them as well as ourselvesā¦ or not. If backpacks are off the table I think a pet with itās own storage space could be.

Combine the new storage chest and backpack. If you place it and fill it then break the chest but contents stay in the chest.
