Suggestion: floating pie should negate all fall damage. Make them useful

Explorers would love this. Builders too.

Floating pies are useful. Eat one and let a elite wildstock hit you.

Floating pies take off a bunch of fall/impact damage.

It’s not floating pie not perform well, its the formula of falling damage is really weird.
If you don’t get any skill point on HP, and max the falling armor, you can basically get rid of most falling damage, unless you falling from extremely high place. Also when you using it with floating pie, and guild buff, its kind of impossible to died when you build at high place. But its not useful for hunting because I believe most hunter take hp point skill to prevent one shot by the monsters. Currently falling damage’s formula is not very friendly with high hp character build. You get more hp, falling damage will hurt you more. The logic is very weird, unless it means more hp = more weight, then it may make some sense to me lol.

Indeed. I grapple fling my gatherer into mountains and trees every 30 sec and Never Ever worry about it. Seems like every other 3 block drop smokes my hunter. Both r 5/5 fall dmg, but the hunter has more health. Whats up!?!

Pretty sure fall damage is a percentage of max health not a fixed value

Could be that i care more about the state of my hunters health. But I often die due to fall damage while traveling with the hunter and never with the gatherer. I travel a lot more with the gatherer spec too, so the difference stands out. I find it to be very very odd.

Definitely fall damage doesn’t work with high health as it does with no health

Do you know if I could just reduce my health a little? I might try some things out

I was feeling it’s percentage of max health, but for low hp character with max falling armor, falling armor will block most damage unless you fall from very high place. High hp character with max falling armor even a few block high will still kill you. As result, I don’t think the formula is just simple as percentage of max health.

Maybe @lucadeltodecso can tell us if this is a bug or a feature

Yeah man. 5 points into vitality is way better for flinging yourself around than 8. Especially if you aren’t using the health epic
