This is a shot from underneath the ocean. I’m about 50 blocks deep here and looking up. Yet you can barely tell there’s water there at all. Believe it or not it’s even worse during the day.
Thickened water aside, the opacity of regular water needs bumping up in my opinion.

At least day time you can actually see Underground “waterfalls” that leads into a caves when you are at the surface of the water…
I dislike that cause it takes a bit away from the exploring side of the game.
