I cant seem to find the answer on the forums, but I am tired, is there a hammer dmg boon with or without the hammer versatility that one shots T6 gravel with a hammer? Cheers.

With a bit more digging it seems i might be able to do it with lvl 10 dmg boon on a diamond hammer with some strength bombs, anyone got the hammers or bombs for sale so I can test it out, hammers with speed or dura.

Have managed to forge some hammers that fit the bill to test out, but if they work I would happily spend 20k or more on these hammers if that is a good price for someone?

The plan is to dig out everything including seams in 1 hit, not tried it as a mining technique yet and i feel it will suit me, not too fast because of the strength brew, but i can calve out a nice area and then run through it with some other hammers to collect anything else showing, and most importantly have an easy time just mining in straight lines.

I don’t know if that’s possible. I only forge up to damage level 8 with diamand hammers, i.e. +20. You mean, because of the annoying gravel, you always have to test it at damage level 10
Is not the miner guildbuff helping ?
It treat gravel and sand as easy picking, at least on lower lvl planets.
I have not tried it myself on a t7.

Yeah i looked there, it looks like with strength brew max, strength bombs and dmg 10 on diamond and the strength buff bombs, you one hit seams will be testing in a bit so ill report back.

So the hammers do one hit seams, but the armour on gravel and sand is still two hits, then i did the mega versatility helix and i can now one hit sand as well but gravel is still two hits. I think this is worth it for saving hammer dura if your mining allot, but im not sure, and still need to get better at avoiding the lava…
Anyone that wants to try the mega vesitility helix Love has it setup for a bit.

So after a bit of fidling i started mining with a stack of lvl 10 dmg hammers with lvl 7 speed and persisting pie, definatly not the fastest way to mine, but im finding it very satifying.
One hammer in and i have mined 715 diamonds, two and two and a half smart stacks of coal and metal. This is even withought collecting the exposed resources, as im strip mining and going to run through with a cheap 3x3 and pick up the extra recourses. At todays prices those diamonds sell to request baskets for 98k so these hammers would be easily worth 20k to me, and are able to be forged with the methodology mostly used on the forum (methodology to forge anything).
The mega durabiliy helix costs 160k, so that may be part of the consideration, but looks like you could easily pay this back with just one smart stack of hammers.

second hammer got 585 diamonds, so 1300 in 2 hammers, not including the extras, ill go thru the rest of the hammers and see what i get for the total, plus mopping up after.

I only got through one more hammer before getting distracted, got 636 with that hammer, then 742 clearing up the area i had mined out, pretty good so far.

Do you use strength bomb on t7? i might use a stack of these hammers for my first proper t7 mining expedition. I usually just pick up a few when getting goo.

I doT6 mining with speed brew using durability hammers, while on T7 exos I use speed hammers and strength brews.
