@james with the recipe changes going on, can the glass panes be updated to not pull their color from gleam and instead pull it from the sand used to craft them? Was thinking that would make it much easier to get the color of glass pane you want since they STILL aren’t “tintable” yet supporting the 256-color spectrum like all of the other spray-tintable blocks.

Glass panes aren’t made with sand directly, and I dont think they keep track of the sand color for regular glass blocks
Also don’t think they were ever supposed to be spray tintable. Just like the other stuff that’s made using gleam for its color. And if it was to use sand for its color they would have to change the recipes for it or change how the normal glass blocks store data.
Think I’m going to stea… err, “borrow” a couple ideas off Jiivita’s video there. Trellis lighting around 11:30-12:00 - I love the look of the chiseled deco gleam, and using it as a light like that really looks great. 
Plus the metal grid bridge around 13:10, I was thinking the grid would work well in the Vault project, love the way that bridge looks.

glass panes arent made from sand, you mistaken it with normal glass… glass panes are made of gleam
I saw someone’s storage boxes witha regular square door piece that opened/shut – were those the new storage?

no those were regular storage blocks with a door on it.
Jiivita??? If so he should have lifetime free gleamclub at the least. I’ve learned more form his videos than I ever would just playing the game

Can we get a day or 2 heads up like we used to get before it goes live so we can collect and wait? The last few updates I’ve noticed “we are going down soon “hourish” and we no longer have the 12-24 hour notice. If has to be approved by PS we should have a day or two notice sense PlayStation requires approval for updates

But lately PS has improved their approval process and patches can be released within hours.
Seen that happen with NMS quite a few times in the past… Update was released, had a bug, couple hours later a new patch came out.

@James, comments for the new blocks:
- the foliage Trellis, does not look much different from normal foliage.
- the Marble Border block is not joining vertically (along the grooves). By design, it might be a nice column, but as it does not connect it looks strange. It connects horizontally though. Not sure if this is intended behavior ?
- Fishscale mosaic is great, but always oriented towards North. As this has specific pattern, it might be better to have the possibility to change the orientation. For other mosaics and marble it does not mater, just specifically the fishscale mosaic to fit builds.
