Testing 245: Sovereign Worlds!

So anyone testing
Can you generate a World like the Exo Tynnallivo we had way back

Well I had some PM talks with James over a year ago when I was about to quit the game after some issues at my former settlement and the idea of rentals was the one thing that kept me going. Back then they were gonna try to keep it around $/€5 to 10, 15 max, per month.

But a lot has probably changed. They could offer different sizes, they might even be able to have prices based on how many players you want to allow on your planet (perm planet max is now 80, a lower amount could be cheaper perhaps, no idea if that is true), etc.

So no idea what the current plans are, I don’t think it will be too costly, so we all should be able to afford at least one!

Kinda hoping they are cheap enough to take more than 1, hehe.

Am thinking of having one permanent new home world and then I would like a rotating planet, 1 month a T6 diamond one, then 1 month a T7 Rift, etc.

No, it won’t be included in GC. Who knows they might do a combo deal so you get some discount when you take both.

Monthly is probably going to be the shortest time period you can take. I think they might use the same choices as we have with Gleam Club, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months

Unknown as of now

I highly doubt that. The reason why WS wants these to be successful is to make extra income, if we can get them with cubits they probably don’t get extra income from them…

We can only ask for a planet to be made for us and they all seem to be T4 Lush planets…

I would be happy to test a sovereign world if you need any more eyes on them. I imagine you have a glut of willing testers but just in case.

they do - worked for me

you stare at dirt though?

Finally!!!

Were those your random generated block colors (in the picture above)
or did you manage to change them?
They look nice to me :+1:

Should, probably something they missed out on the remeshing code

Cool update
That no drops, creatures and meteorites sentence was confusing. But found that it would be only like that until world has been “published”.

a lot of people got it wrong
yeah there is editing mode before you finalize the world; until then no creatures or drops so you can edit colors and terrain (blocks can be removed from the world)

This is really big thing. It makes warping much more wanted to use now that we can search location fast

I have more doubts, which I can not find an answer, will the taxes be active in the private worlds? If so, who receives them? the owner of the planet, the viceroy or the game?

And regarding the viceroy who will it be? the owner of the planet or the one with the most prestige?

Who gets our taxes anyways in the public universe?? We pay a 10% tax on shopping baskets but where does that 10% go?? I never thought of this until just now :thinking:
