When there is a “Hold E” tooltip active it overrides the use of the e key in the knowledge table search field, so when typing “e” it causes the knowledge menu to close.

Also seems to apply to the letter “i” as well when using the recipe search within the machine interfaces.
Edit: and also “K” switches you to the knowledge tab when using the search field (basically seems like just not escaping characters when using the search input).
Found and fixed for next update: was same issue as the grappling control context change.
