Endless money to hire a whole new team to get boundless on track with titans etc working under James.
I do truly believe that if they had the money to devote a whole new team to boundless, they would do it.
Well, my artistic talent is about nonexistent… but is topped (or bottomed, I guess) by my lack of talent with programming or anything tech… and you wouldn’t want me as a voice actor unless you wanted to chase off what is left of the fanbase…
Guess $$$ is the only thing I’m good for here!
Who the top donater I Double it Mwahahaha
Haha Cookie
I’ll go one better: who’s the bottom donator? I’ll half it
$$ can buy all those other things
I’ll provide tastefully shot glamour poses of myself draped over a sports car to boost advertising potential.
If I had money. Hire a writer to turn the universe into an RPG. Create Lore, give players a way to feel connected, get more skills into play, and toss some bad bosses in as well.
If successful, add more developers to make random spawn events that are instances that when cleared can be used for a guild to farm rare resources. The guild can them claim that “Dungeon” so that passive resources could be gathered (Base Iron/Copper/Stone/etc) and the more specialized gatherers can go in and farm for the rare materials.
Added:
Invest in an actual customer service team to handle questions and improve the current turnaround time of 2+ months for a response.
This I’d pay for.
We’d all pay for it…in buckets of sick.
I donate one cent, Checkmate.
In all seriousness, I would support the game with advertising if I had the chance.
This! Do this! Forget the pledge. Just do it anyway.
“A game was shut down by the government today in response to an act of gross public indecency. Millions of Britons are believed to have poked out their own eyes and a state of national emergency has been declared.”
I can sit behind me keyboard and point out exactly where the developers have gone wrong on certain areas of Boundless and I can say EXACTLY how they should fix it. All backed up, of course, by my 26 years of zero Game Developer experience.
And perhaps, after their contact on BG3 (which would have been stupid to pass up), is over maybe they will have the $$$ to finish what they started.
Until then, the game is dead.
I agree that BG was a great opportunity for them, but I don’t think the game is dead
Or maybe they are working on boundless 2.0 with a more improved game engine and are mum on the project
Maybe Maybe Maybe…Positive thinking… Thats why we are not seeing any new news
At some point the cost of running the servers will no longer be financially viable. I love the game, but there is no reason to come back until they can start full filling the promises they’ve been making to all of us, especially those of us who played since beta/launch.
I’ve logged in and explored. Ive seen a few people here and there. I have seen a bunch of dead shops… and I have seen the beautiful game I love, and miss, but its hardly an MMO and grinding for Oort is just a huge grind.
It’s too bad they had to put so much energy and resources over Biitula wars, and plot issues/trolls. Maybe they could have put more of that effort into the Titans/Hunter… not even gonna mention swords and shields, which let’s face it, would be super disappointing without some new enemies/bosses to give is a challenge.
I know the game has potential, and I have always been one of its biggest supporters, even when others were seeing issues years ago, but with zero advertising and nothing but basic server maintenance, the game will just continue to to dwindle.
I’ve got nothing. LOL! I can’t draw or program my way out of a paper bag. Maybe I could just continue making videos???
Your videos are what will attract new players them- keep them coming plzzzzz.
