you could also make ingame games, instead of having the devs make it, make events! like human chess, human checkers, that stuff.
But that would require way more people.

Alright,to all who read the convo. above,Iâll have the first draft of the Oort card game in about two days if not before. Iâve been work with @DuskWolf on the game.

The first draft of the card game will be here in about 3min
1.Cards will have the same amount of Heath and attack power,unless the card is above 25 health/level. Then the attack power is only 3/4 the health.
Sence I wanted the cards to be based off the creatures of OortâŚ
2.Each player will have to kill the creature to get the card.
So youâll have to work to get cards to get the cards you want. If you want higher level cards youâll have to fight and defeat them.
3.The player has 25 health,and the purpose is to deplete all the enemies Heath.
4.Players will have 10-15 mana/power
5.A player can make up to 3 custom decks for ultimate in-game GAMEPLAY!!!
Thatâs about it, I have some other ideas but I wanted you to see them first.

It might just be me and that the only cardgame I played recently is Hearthstone^^ But that sounds a lot like it^^
For those who know it. It sounds like you have a deck full of lightspawns xD
But it is too early to say much about the whole system.
That aside I really like the part that you have to defeat the monster to get the card. Maybe you can get multiple cards but you donât get one everytime. That way non-fighter can buy cards others have to much of.
3 Decks doesnât sound like enough. I mean from a programming perspective, just storing a list doesnât take that much effort and I like to have a lot of experimental decks^^
Yeah,I based it off hearthstone because itâs such a good game,but itâs just the first draft Iâll change it up as the game develops.
Well people said they wanted it to be simple,I wanted 6 decks at first but that seemed like to much,and yeah you only get the card once.
But that would mean that some people couldnât play the game. Or at least not with good cards.

i would love for a system like that and then have the creatures drop it at a very very low droprate, but again it is very hard to make a fun system where stronger monsters is stronger cards, while at the same time making it a ââeverybody are evenââ game as kuma also mentions
@KuroKuma it doesnt necessarily have to be completely fair for everybody, it wont be if it is a collectible cardgame, thats just kinda how they work.
you have to pick one or the other, either is it a CCG and you accept that better cards will exist or you make it a standard game where you can collect fancy stuff for it that doesnt change the balance.
of course it wonât be completely fair^^ but for every ccg you can buy your cards and you can have multiples of each card. Thatâs what I wanted to say^^
