But what is it saying?

Snow on lava… But that’s ok in my opinion, it’s an alien world and all. We already have plentiful snow and rain in deserts!

What if the snow is actually molten hot white plasma and we just don’t know because we don’t take damage from environments yet?

I will give you that, localization of environment effects may be reaching. Sly. Hush.

Friendly reminder: Don’t eat the snow that doesn’t melt on contact with lava.

This reminds me of the flaming snowball experiment, where you mix calcium acetate with alcohol.
Imagine how terrifying would be a snowball fight with flaming snowballs.:smiling_imp:

weather is waiting for overhaul as in limiting certain types with biomes and all - at the moment the focus is on having all particle effects etc. in game and working

will there be snow on lava planets?
dunno, maybe - if yes than we can think how it behaves

but I would take @Karokendo advice - dont quench your thirst with it; it might even turn out to be something else than snow
