Titanium Fire Pit and Crucible

Is there any good reason to build a Titanium Fire Pit and Crucible say over a Iron Fire PIt and Crucible? Any advantage except the titanium lasts longer?

It reduces cook times just as the iron forge cooks faster than the stone forge.
