Toggle others ability to warp to you

Sometimes you like a little solitude, or are just afk and don’t want people coming to you when you can’t help. It also can bug you sometimes when people randomly warp in on ya, you know?

I propose that an option gets added that lets you toggle whether or not others can warp on you, be it a toggle for everyone, or for individual people.

I really wish there was an “offline” mode in this so no one can see your on.

For awhile this was probably at the top of my wishlist, and it is still up there. It is nothing personal - I get like this with my family even - but there are just times I really want to be alone, and as I don’t want people to take it personally, think I’m giving them the brush off and just not wanting to be social with them at all rather than just then, I’ll just keep my happy face on for whoever drops in. Also, not being able to toggle it off (that, or having removing friends remove you from their lists as well) has kept me from accepting friend requests in the game from people I wasn’t familiar with. With not knowing if them dropping in or whatever might become a problem (rare but can happen), I erred on the side of caution.

Bob is there something you need to tell us? :rofl:

@FireAngelDth
Yes an offline mode would be great, it could come with some presets such as others warping on you as well as not seeing that you are online, and maybe not even showing up on other’s compasses?

also, Paka,

This is exactly what I mean. It’s times like these that I just want to put some music on and build build build and not have to worry about others dropping in. Like you say, it is nothing personal at all to anyone, I just appreciate some alone time. Maybe it’s my inner introvert coming out, but I am sure many others have the same wishes.

Yeh this would be awesome, would also love the option to hide myself on the compass - could open the way for hide and seek maps/games

Make a new character and don’t accept any friend invites. Then find yourself a gorgeous chunk of land away from any towns, and build away friend! It works wonderfully. Especially now when alot of land has opened up from people moving to their sovereigns.

Or, get yourself a sovereign and lock it up?

we need some lore friendly ‘online/ busy/ do not disturb/ can’t speak english’ mechanic. not just toggle warping, but to tell others what’s what when they meet us in the wild

The grind for levels is the issue on that one. My sovereign that I need to build on is basically private right now. I’d rather not have to earn enough levels for 2 skill pages

Excellent point! Regrinding everything isn’t much fun, especially when you’re used to having four skill pages that can do anything in game at your disposal on one character

Yea I have the 5 pages on my character. But to build what I need I can get by with 2. If I wanted to be super picky I could probably manage on one. But I’d rather have them set up the way I like to play

If you’re friends with the person on Steam, I’m pretty sure they can be your friend without your consent.

Really? That’s Interesting. Hmm…
