Top 5 weapons you would like to see in the game

List the top 5 weapons you would like to see in game only rule is no different tier of fist weapons and no different tier of slingbow. Let’s just assume that these are already being worked on so we dnt need to mention them.

no 5. Swords, I’m thinking more along cutlass’s or the ones with the curved look, not long swords as I don’t think they will match the game as well.

no 4. Knifes/daggers, Give me the option to use it close or throw them. when you throw them they are a projectile that you can pick up until the durability is worn out.

no 3. Clubs, I think Mobius’s example is more than enough.

no 2. Battle Axes, lets you swing it both ways, giving you an frontal cone of damage (built in horizontal AOE).

aaaaand no 1. Staves (magic). I TOLD YOU TO TAKE THE WIZARD’S STAFF!

  1. Sword in every tier
  2. Shield in every tier
  3. Rifle with different tier ammo
  4. Bow with blades on the ends
  5. Arrows made from wood - gem and beyond
    …also would like to forge arrows with buffs/debuffs healing and other effects

Yes, new single target healing. Preferably with better tracking then the bombs currently have since they rarely work with people in motion. I have been wanting that since October.

Ideally I would think that if you were able to target someone with a healing arrow or something then it hits them the program should be able to register it better that way then location aoe based.

I agree, it seems to track projectiles hitting baddies just fine

  3. Energy based rechargeable shield
  4. Space cookies. Throw them at Wildstock and they do minimal damage :stuck_out_tongue: a fun way to annoy creatures

The shield would work where youd have to use it in the hand you put it in it to gain the defense bonus. No passive bonus for just sitting in your hand. And when you use it the animation has it move slightly towards in front of your chest as if to block. Or maybe not make it energy based at all and just have regular durability mechanics so it functions within the current economy of craft/forge sell/buy

The weapon of my choice is “great ball’s of fire”.

I’m a mage at heart. I can’t help it. :weary:

I know the devs said that magic doesn’t fit into the world, but of course there are ways to have a mage like character in a world without magic. :thinking:

And of course there is Arthur C. Clarke’s third law. :wink:

Anything with a blade is fantastic to me. :heart_eyes:

Glaive
Whip (simple, electric, chain or with a blade)
Daggers (held and throwing)
A real fist weapon that’s 100% melee like claws or a katar

And probably some large heavy weapon similar to a hammer for stunning and defense breaking (heck, I’ve seen some unique versions that looked like an engine welded onto a pole!)

sigh now I will continue Google searching blades because they are pretty and make me happy.

We only have 2 ranged weapons, we need some scifi/elemental weapons(something for the mage or other), and melee weapons.

  1. Pulse Energy Gun (Laser Beam, something)
  2. Sword/Katana/Super Slicyness
  3. Blunt Melee Weapon
  4. Energy/Elemental Melee?
  5. Oort Saber (jk [kind of] but maybe an elemental/energy staff?)

Firearms
Explosive projectile weapons
Combat vehicles (mechs, tanks, etc. to fight Titans and any sort of massive roaming boss)
Ballistic Shields
Energy weaponry (including energy guns and melee weapons)

Since this game isn’t going to have magic in it, I think having a combination of various types of tech weapons in the game is a good thing. I also think a lot of them should have an ammunition source so there’s plenty of resource sinks into things. How these weapons look isn’t really a concern of mine. I just want weapons that get used up and require ammo in order to use.

According to @james the game is scifi after all.

A shield with a push back attack.

A melee weapon such as a sword or lance with a charge ability of sorts or aoe attack.

Mortar, cuttletrunks and higher tier enemies have mortar attacks. A long range rifle like a musket with a large barrel would be cool to see.
