i didn’t think this would happen but ran into an issue when i came across a single plot that is kind of in my way of building my goo farm, (building close to bedrock and the other players plot was on the surface) i can work around it but isn’t ideal for my building plans so I’ve been just waiting to see if it would run outa fuel. when i started building i didn’t see or realize it was out there until i was 500 plots deep into the build lmaooooo. I’ve sent a few messages in game to see if i could find the player but no luck so here i am. ill post a pic of the beacon and name of the character. if anyone knows them or is that player please reach out to me. you don’t even need to get rid of it. just move it one plot north would greatly be appreciated.

the plot has one beacon and two or three chest, that’s it lol.

One of the things you can’t do is plot all around the beacon. That would be a violation of the CoC.

I’ve seen a few of things like this.. in one of my guild areas we have a 2 plot area that has been there since pretty much the 2nd week of the game being released. There are some people that paid for very long gleam club and some players that still play. I’ve never figured out who it is.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY WISH that the older players would go through and remove plots like that or ones they really know they will never use in towns or near other players. I know a few people have and I have gone through and cleaned ones I know I don’t want. But, there are those that have “quit” but keep fueling gleamclub and not at least cleaning up their stuff. THOSE that quit and still have builds are the ones that need to clean out old worthless beacons more than those playing regularly.
While the rules now are not to fully enclose them you can certainly build within a few plots and continue things.

Id be real cautious about removing beacons. I find it extremely unfair to remove a beacon that isn’t breaking some form of TOS/COC or isn’t a banned player.
I know of a few beacons of active players that have sat in areas for years and when approached I just get the “I’ll get to it eventually, or maybe I won’t” remark.
It could also be a new player.

none the less, i would still wanna talk to the person lmao. tbh i don’t think ill ever find them xD and i don’t really wanna go to a dev or have them deal with it ya know? but like you said they aren’t breaking any rules so i don’t think that’s necessary to make a beacon moderation request..
