I do. Modern satanism was birthed in 1960s, theistic and atheistic, latter believing in satan as just a patriarch but what modern satanists (the ignorant ones) can’t get away from is satanisms roots in luciferianism and Baphomet. Satan was and always will be the father of lies and a corrupter, so if you’re a believer in all of this, it could be said you’re deceived.
Throughout history Satan was always an antagonistic force. Even before Christianity, the Persians had their own precursor, again an antagonist.
It is also has roots in saturn/black cube of Cronus worship.
This is where the “intent” part comes in. As it’s hard to make a case either way, I believe that it should come down to the tonality of the message/build/symbol and be judged in that way if it needs to be judged at all. A differing opinion shouldn’t be offensive, but an offensive opinion always is. Boundless is a worldwide game that has a ton of different people in it. This stuff, in all likelihood, is bound to happen again.

As for things which concern me more: I do have trouble with the lag everytime i go through a few portals. My client gets unresponsive and closes down. To counter this i sacrificed a molten cheese sandwhich to the dark lord. I hope the ping will be with me.

I am also a neighbor of this behavior, and I think a big point is missing , as far as I understand he is not a religious person, but does it to provoke.
For me that is even mocking another religion.
Me my self is an atheist so it don’t offend me , but it is sad to have one person making so much trouble.
I see how hard @Psyborg is working to build a nice community, and helping everyone.

Build a big religious monument or a big anti-religious monument some people will think its cool some people will think your a ■■■■.
Either way if you decide to go down that rode someone will take offence so is it worth the hassle.

i think this is an important topic to notice. and it should be adressed in code of conduct as soon as possible.
I personally am strongly against any expression of any religion or belife in game, may it be through symbolism or words. Also i do not really want to see national pride or any kinds of rl politics (gender/sexual orientation/racism) expressed in the game, (good bye united states of Merica, or SwissRepublic and how they all call themselfes) These are all very controversial topics in reallife, and i do not want to find myself or other people sucked into a discussion full of misunderstanding and hatered while i only try to have a good time and play a nice game.
There is plenty of room on the internet, for people who cant life without discussing and expressing their opinion and identity, like the offtopic part of this forum, where i can go if i want to take part in this stuff. But i deliberately play a game to get distance from this stuff 
can you imagine to walk through a city in boundless plastered in siggns stating to you: “the earth IS flat”, “jesus was gay too”, “vote trump”,“meat is murder”, “men are the enemy”,“mohamed is the truth” DD:
please devs, dont let this happen and make clear that this game is set in an alternate universe where all these problems are not hapening the way we know them from earth. There will for sure be enough Oortling drama anyways surounding the game and its developement. We dont need another discussion if swasticas are okay when they are put on a budhist temple. make clear that the budhist temple itself is not a great idea already.
Edit to make some points clear: FICTIONAL roleplay related “religion” or “temple”-themed builds are/and should be totally fine. Also if you want to hold elections in your town about who should become the new Warden or Viceroy, totally awesome, go for it xD

Also bear in mind that these building could very well have been built for their architecture. Little Japan has a temple but this is probably because of the unique architecture of the architectural style.
The capital of Delta is Teotihuacan which couldn’t be built without adding a temple structure because It’s the biggest building during that time period for them.

iam not against temples inspired by rl architexture, iam against big advertisers of belifes of any nature. A fictional belife with a fictional temple is totally fine as long as its not connected to RL problems/politics
Anyway, i am not sure of keeping all politics and religion outside a game is a posibility. Maybe that pattern some people use in their build is a religious symbol in Sufi Islam they have no knowledge of for instance.With blocks its is also very easy to make swastika’s, and i have seen a few in game already.
But i think that not making references to religion and politics in a game is a thing of good manners. Though the idea of building a rainbow unicorn monument is very appealing to me. Unfortunately chiseling is :effort: so i probably stick to my brutalist builds.

i just want to make clear that i am especially against people obviously and deliberately advertising their personal subjective belifes. Not everything a person can be offended by can be or should be “forbidden” of course, as we all know, people can become pretty much offended by everything if they have a bad day.
