this sounds like you would be the one hunting noobs xD
Iâm too nice for that^^ except someone pisses me off really hard. Then Iâll hunt them to the death. Regardless of LvL.
Fair enough. but yeah i look forward to a system like the wardrobe system
What are the 3 most important things to you for character customisation in priority order (this might help us to know)
- The look of myself with armor and weapon.
- The look of myself without armor and weapon.
a) In a game like Oort/Mc my house^^
b) if you donât count that: My pet maybe but thatâs an unsure one.
Or did you mean in more detail?
- hairstyles
- color options (eye colors, hair color, fur/skin color)
- Body types/sliders
ingame it would be
- dye system
- wardrobe system.
- not being forced to use the same skills and builds as everybody else.
also how hard would it be to make an RGB system for the game? i always liked when that was possible in things like character creation for eyecolor and hair color.
Youâre cheating, you canât go: 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3
Bear in mind: not all the Oort races have hair, or hairstyles for that matter. Theyâre reasonably primal, but tool using, beast races. The Sims, this ainât.
Colour options / dyes seems important, though?
I think the best way to express who you are and who you want to be seen as is your color schemes⌠to mention a few examples.
You wear black and darker red people will see you as a rogue/evil.
if you use white with light blue you will seem more ââgoodââ
Guilds could agree on a color scheme they would all wear, that way they could look the same even with different armors, really epic in a big battle.
i could use a ton of times on dyes if that is what i wanted, and it means almost everything to me, i hate not being able to change looks so we all look the same, just adding a dye system made me feel much more engaged in the game because i could express who i was rather than be clone #10452
Good point, never thought of it like that. Definitely works well for guilds.
that and the emblem creator for signs, guild logos and things like that would help alot.
but if i had to pick 3.
it would be
Dye system.
Transmorg/Wardrobe
The ability to make my own builds rather than having predetermined classes.
although i really dont want to look like everybody else of the same race
From out character design doc:
All players should feel as though they look unique (they should rarely see another character on screen with the same combined appearance as themselves)
1.: The Face (Like Chose Head and select a special (Hair, Horns or Paints for example)
2.: Being able to chose the look of your armor/cloth (but please with crafting, not simple by clicking on stuff in a menue)
3.: Dye the stuff I wear (may be with 2 or 3 color slots per Item, but that would be a priority #4 )
That are the 3 most basic kinds of customisazion that I realy feel to NEED in Oort
Well hair could as well be skin patterns, feathers or horns
Yeah these are more appropriate.
-
boxes and bags in 3 different sizes on a belt, for carrying items.
-
rucksack. with the option to add boxes and bags in 3 different sizes.
-
ability to drop a box, bag or rucksack (incl. contents) onto the floor.
