WB Idea: slope control

This is a few ideas rolled into one:

  • Ideally, more block types should support slopes. For example, it’d be nice if stone could be sloped.
  • What if the WB provided some way of controlling the kinds of slope a particular heightmap or 3d noise generated (or maybe on a per strata/substrate basis)? e.g. you could specify which slopes are allowed.

Ideas that could be accomplished w/ this:

  • Basalt columns w/ slopes along the xz axis (not y as we have today)
  • Enabling slopes on cavern roofs
  • etc

I recall reading that more block types could be chiseled in the future–we just haven’t gotten to that point yet.
