No, totally a keyboard thing. I’m not a console player. But I am addressing the issue, or trying
I am opposed to being told to chill out on the gaming, it’s my vice. Boundless has been my number one game for so long. Either I learn to play differently, somehow… or chillax a bit.
Been there so many times about it being a vice. I went through an odd shoulder pain that wound up being my posture and how I was holding my arm when typing on the keyboard. Hope it gets better!
Been there ^^ I got a couple of tips for you: move run away from shift, either to the mouse (I use a thumb button) or move from WASD over to ESDF and use A to run (still on the pinky, but at least you don’t have to bend it so much). Boundless is special though because it has this option:

If you enable it, you can run by double tapping forward. It needs a bit of getting used to, but it helps a lot ![]()
TY ! I will give it a try. I really appreciate the tips.
Swapped out my gleam ball colors. Lots of blues if anyone needs them.
Started working on a new building. Went shopping. Bought a bunch of the wrong color marble. Discovered I bought a bunch of the wrong color marble. Bought a bunch more marble.
Ordered a new planet for bitter beans and shadow orb farming so I can make coins to fund all my shopping.
I snagged a new planet last night… I nearly 99% of the time roll a chill planet for bitters, sapphires and Topaz. Seems to always be the most profitable of the planets.
Chill planets do great for bitterbeans, but they don’t get the Weeping Waxcap mushrooms for the shadow orbs. I rolled a Toxic and it has lots of both.
But they do with Island Trees. Usually, I roll a chill with Island Trees for orbs and beans from those which is usually very concentrated. I have a pretty standard roll for chills now based on a good 50-75 rolls of chill planets after talks with @bucfanpaka and others.
It’s mostly up to RNG these days on how good they are. I go for concentrated areas these days. While large numbers look great on paper, highly concentrated area of mushrooms, sapphires and topaz have always been the go-to.
I’ve been considering having a planet with sapphires and bitters… would you be willing to pm me with any advice?
I already have a sapphire/topaz planet, and it does have island trees. What on those drops shadow orbs? The glowing lamella? I might have to hit that up for a comparison.
I think you are correct that nothing on island trees drop shadow orbs, totally thinking of the other two orbs. I do farm them though on the maze biome on my chills. Which is really nice for bitters and Shadow Orbs.
I can PM you sure. Give me a few and I’ll put some information together. I may just make a post for it and ping ya.
I mined this sapphire spot for a few hours last night. Put a decent dent in it.
6 hammers got me over 4000 sapphire.
And 9 or 10 stacks of iron.
Not bad for this novice miner. ![]()
I did the same on a new sov testing it out this morning. Wound up with a decent concentrated large area. Still needs some tweaks. Its also where I got all that iron I shared. Think the planet was like 46% iron, Id have to look again.
As it’s winter on this side of the rock I woke up to a very foggy pre-dawn. As the sun rose (going to be a sunny but cold day) I watched the fog turn sherbet pink and bronze-gold. Then I logged into the game on a character without the good weather, and watched the same thing happen on Storis
I added gleam to my glass shop so I can easily see what colors need to be made. Now I have a list a mile long of glass I need to make. ![]()
Farmed up 15 chests of dirt and 15 chests of sand. Turned those into 7 chests of basic glass. Filled up my refineries. So much digging!
Got on for the first time in a while as the internet was up. Farmed a bit then continued digging for my extension.
I’m still pulling stuff out of reclaim… ![]()
Went wabbit huntin
Lol my natural state. Must have a dozen reclaims active (out of 40 characters) on Norkyna right now. Soon it will be 40 until I reclaim all the blocks on Biitula
