Added some more waterfalls (and small caves) to the back of the build and continued with the greenery (still need to light it up though). Added some more plots and removed loads of water in the process.
Also checked for the growth state of the kindling below the dark blocks and removed the dark blocks where the kindling was either fully grown or a step before.
I’m at a point where I’m glad I can’t expand endlessly into each side 'cause I’d probably continue terraforming even more. Time just flies by - takes quite a while to terraform but it’s totally worth it.
Today I did a reclaim on a character I don’t play anymore so I could delete him. Something strange showed up in the reclaim. 63,000 silk cerulean stones. I don’t know where they came from.
@Nightstar does your reclaim leak?
Not that I’ve ever caught
back to expanding my town - today I almost finished the Prop House, where I craft and store the likes of poles and beams, signs or chests
EDIT: a lot of little details added around the walls etc. also changing some colours
spot the difference excercise - more or less the same perspective pictures are paired to show upgrades
Why terraform When you can use the terrain as it is. It makes builds more interesting.
Your terrain looks great
@boundmore wheres this town?
Originally I wanted to keep the terrain as it was but the water wasn’t deep enough for for the underwater build. Although I like terraforming I was kinda forced to do so this time. I needed to go 4-6 plots deeper than the original soil level I think.
Going wider wasn’t really an option 'cause I’m more or less fenced in in that lake and I wanted to stay close to others.
It’s my sovereign called Saren I.
Portal in TNT hub on Finata.
Rivertown has a portal to my planet as well, but their portal shows only my town name, Cill Airne.
Ok… Sovereign… Plah.
Last night Eneit took me on another tour of Storis II builds.
Seriously, there are some very very talented, creative and clever people out there.
@Eneitgranny I May check this one out… This looks so my kinda stuff ^^
The area really is just lovely. Insane attention to detail.
Basic blocks used to advantage.
Can not recall the builders name. @Eneitgranny can tell you
Began building the portal hub on the new farm planet Meow XI. You can already visit the planet, portal in Cat Topia/City. The farms for Clay, Gleam, Silt, Foliage, etc etc etc will be built in the next few days. But you’re welcome to farm if you like the colors.
Decided to finally start and finish off my new hunt hub. Kept it in theme with my Sovereign.
Hopefully get some hunts started back up.
I also did some exploring round places i hadn’t visited or hadn’t been in a while. One thing I love about this game is wandering and finding some hidden gems
I kinda wish we could go back to that. Where builds are creative uses of stone, wood, and plants without all this marble and mosaic.
I love marble and mosaic. The best builds I have seen in game are the ones that use everything. Not just basic, not just high end.
I personally just adore stone houses. Actual stone. Not that fake facade stuff. The one stone, igneous I think, looks just perfect by itself.
And, i’ve noticed that some seriously creative builds use deco gravel as an aging accent for walls etc. That’s just brilliant.
go to the Welcome Centre tnt planetary portal for Storis - there is a section of portals on that ground floor called sites of Storis. You want the portal for Lefra’s Oasis. It’s my absolute favourite build on the whole planet. Studiflora still plays every now and then and adds more to it
The foilage looks like a thatch roof! I like that. Never considered using foilage for roof before.
