i just came back in and looked at an exo and there are no list of resources anymore.
u are literally killing chances of any player going to an exo without information on WHY they should go in the first place. if there is no reason to go they wont.
The exo forum posts that were being posted by the WorldPoster account were made by a player, not by the developers. With boundlexx not being updated anymore, it stopped working.
@Redlotus tries to get to new exos and scan them, then posts the resources in their own forum post
Yes, that’s a player. The company doesn’t supply that information.

No it was a player that created the application bot, that interacted with info players uploaded while running a scan app while looking either through a portal or visiting the app. But part of it stopped working and needs new stuff to update it. There are a few posts where he discusses it.

My bad, Redlotus is showing up in the moderator list and has a shield as an icon. Must be a forum bug.
Only thing I have done is fix the scanner again and scan the exos when they pop up. There are a few of us looking into ways we can replace Boundlexx. It would be nice to not have to rely on someone’s application who doesn’t care enough to fix it.

You’re a programmer. Write your own application. And ask John Eric to give you the API key(or whatever it is?) you need.

from that demanding posts i only see that bot made by Simoyd and Gorillas worldPoster only teached players to leach on their work, without effort, without being grsteful they only logged, checked discord/forum for resource count and logged off without word, as you see they even dont want to visit exo to check list of resources in game world tab

I thought the developer did try to fix it many times? I swore I saw posts on it. I didn’t take the time to really investigate everything.
After having to write the hunt bot from scratch I do wish I had taken the time to get my own API keys from James… I massively regret not doing that but at the time they were releasing them I wasn’t sure I wanted to develop anything from scratch.
Something with how Steam Authenticates changed and messed up the process among other things. The Developer of the tool(s) is more focused on ARK than 20 or so players (Their words not mine)
This is where the conversation started about the scanner breaking and such you can read down from here. I believe they worked in conjunction and they list where a person needs to start to try to get something going. But it sounds like one needs a new key or something to get it working. I am not an app person so I am unsure. Maybe someone can read thru this thread and figure something out with the help of @jon-eric if he can. Cheers to anyone that can understand it all.
