The circle with the white dot directly under the square in the centre of the screen, is it supposed to be there?

That is the center point for the plot map in builder mode.
You have builder mode active. In the exo there are no plots just the dot.

How did you figure this out? Happen to just hit builder mode on an exo one day?
I’m always using the builder mode on and off the exo.
Just took a little logical reasoning to figure this out.

I hardly ever have it on, probably why I didn’t notice.
And when I do have it on it is at base, so see all the other stuff and never noticed that dot before.
Oddly, I switched chars while it was there and it showed up on all my other chars, which means plot view stays active on all chars until you switch it off, I would have assumed it would remember what each chars last state was.
Oh well, thanks for clearing it up anyway

Good old plot view…gets you every time
