What is your favourite Anime?

Danganronpa, i wouldnt call it ‘‘amusing’’ since it implies happieness, i would call it entertaining though, loved the art style and the plot twist is soooo great

I found the death sequences hilarious^^ but I might be a bit twisted in this regard^^
Of course the plot twist is awesome aswell^^

Coming to the party a bit late, but speaking of disturbing, the dog scene in Elfen Lied definitely killed me a bit on the inside.

A guy and cute innocent girl sit on a park bench after an afternoon out with a few drinks. The girl blushes showing the guy with a variety of affectionate hints. He says, “you’ve put me on the spot.”

She reaches up pulling a few hairs out, to share joke about the current lore that says that hair is the way to tell parasites from humans. In her fingers, the hair wiggles like worms and die quickly. He says, “you’ve put me on the spot.”

He kills her and drags her body to the woods behind the bench when another parasite sees him. He looks at the other parasite and asks for help as he is feeling full with an intended meal. The other parasite says, “I don’t like meat with alcohol.”

The scene ends with two monsters consuming the girl.

That was a 20 second intro into episode ~11. And it is what you might expect from

Sorry, I was inspired tonight.

Yo did anyone say samurai champloo yet? That one was pretty dope. Good action at least.

I also really liked Ghost it the shell. The old ones were kinda slow and hard to follow, but the new movie-series they’re doing is fantastic.
Also How have y’all not said Gurren Lagann yet? That was one tight show.

Maybe they’re not anime tho… I don’t really know how the classifications for this stuff goes. I’m not a weaboo.
Also Neon Genesis Evangelion…

I mean half of it is just melodrama, but then there’s some badass robot fight scenes which, let’s be honest, are the only reason anyone liked this. I mean I hope no one liked it for the melodrama, and if you did, you’re probably not the kinda person I’d hang out with lol.

I loved “Ah! My Goddess” although I haven’t seen the whole series. As far as I know it is only a few episodes. It was funny, silly and in its own right - romantic.

I don’t know but something in your post put me off. Maybe I just don’t like the way you talk, who knows.
Just one thing. You don’t need to be a Weaboo or anything to know anything.
The only thing you using that word shows me is that you are “certainly not the kinda person I’d hang out with LOL”.

gosh so much ignorance in one post >_>

My favorite Anime is definetly Psycho-Pass! One of the verybest Psychologiccal Animes in my opinion. I just… love it!

Its the anime secret type, the one that watches anime but refuse it to everyone asking even though it is obvious, because they are afraid to be looked down on and wants to ‘‘fit in’’

better explanation here

not to demean him personally ofc, but you are right, that was kind of an ignorant post xD

to explain it easier refer to this comic

I really liked it in my childhood but lost track of it over time. Sadly the sheer number of episodes stops me from even considering to watch it again.

That’s too bad, defs my favourite anime. Absolutely awesome!

Although when I was kid I really loved Zoids…anyone else heard of that?

Nope never heard of it. Is it more animeish or more cartoonish?

More cartoonish, it’s pretty old now.
