What´s your favorite #3 : Bossfights

Title says it all: What´s your favorite boss fight in gaming history?
My personal favorites were the (hardmode) fights in the Icecrown Citadel in WoW, especially the fight with Arthas. I´ll never forget the cheering in the Teamspeak channel when we finally managed to kill him after weeks of raiding (and the bragging with our new mounts in Dalaran afterwards  )

But Psycho Mantis from MGS definitely also deserves a spot in the best bossfight of all time (I think everyone who fought him knows what I´m talking about  )

Honestly the amount of games i have played i can’t recall it, but to be honest i wouldn’t necessarily call this a boss fight but it was one of these strategy game fights that lasted 18 hours and one of my most interesting games i ever had it was on Halo Wars

Borderlands2. Do I need to go on?

yes (10 chars)

OK, well there is this guy right, and his name is Jack

See Jack really want you dead,so he’s like “Kill yourself( The vault hunter),I’m gonna kill you,DIE!!!”

Vault hunters:You

And your like…No.
So he’s sends everyone and their mama to kill you,and the last BOSS you have to kill is " Warrior"

And he’s like a super big mega fighting energy monster. Then you kill him,and THE END.
Best BOSS fight ever.

I don’t fight with my boss. I just say “yes, dear.”

Planescape Torment - the final boss (no spoilers here)

Had got him without fighting =)

As a kid I always liked the squid boss battle from super mario sunshine and master hand from smash bros melee … I was a gamecube kid.

For me it was the bullethell fights of wildstar that i loved the most, the sort of ‘‘miss one step and you are dead’’

I think for me it was either Sephiroth in any Kingdom Hearts. So satisfying when you finally beat him^^
Or Ansem/Xemnas at the end of KH 1/2.

But honestly. I don’t memorize boss fights^^ For me they’re only means to progress in a story^^

The boss room in Binding of Isaac: Rebirth in which you fight pretty much every boss in the game at once. It’s displayed in this video: (Spoilers-ish)

I used to play it as a kid and I always had fond memories of the squid boss from the first world. it was fun.

I loved croc. I still have all the original playstation discs on my shelf. :crocodile:

I have no real favorite bossfight. But in my favorite game Lineage II you had about 8 hours Open World PVP to fight for the entrance of the boss. Which meant only the strongest Clan could face him. That was a epic fight  fights against KI is mostly not that cool.

Pretty much every boss in ICC, WoW. Gorgutz 'Ead 'Unter DoW: Dark Crusade. The Hand, Super Smash Brothers on the N64.

Eternity Vault was my first raiding experience in SWTOR. Had lots of WoW experience under my belt but there’s a sort of freefall jumping puzzle in the Eternity Vault and my guild just COULD NOT for the life of us do it because it seemed there were slight latency issues causing us to take damage or fall when we shouldn’t have been.

After nearly ten tries we finally got it and I felt more accomplished than I ever did with any WoW boss fight.
