Title says it all: What´s your favorite boss fight in gaming history?
My personal favorites were the (hardmode) fights in the Icecrown Citadel in WoW, especially the fight with Arthas. I´ll never forget the cheering in the Teamspeak channel when we finally managed to kill him after weeks of raiding (and the bragging with our new mounts in Dalaran afterwards )
But Psycho Mantis from MGS definitely also deserves a spot in the best bossfight of all time (I think everyone who fought him knows what I´m talking about )
Honestly the amount of games i have played i can’t recall it, but to be honest i wouldn’t necessarily call this a boss fight but it was one of these strategy game fights that lasted 18 hours and one of my most interesting games i ever had it was on Halo Wars
I have no real favorite bossfight. But in my favorite game Lineage II you had about 8 hours Open World PVP to fight for the entrance of the boss. Which meant only the strongest Clan could face him. That was a epic fight fights against KI is mostly not that cool.
Eternity Vault was my first raiding experience in SWTOR. Had lots of WoW experience under my belt but there’s a sort of freefall jumping puzzle in the Eternity Vault and my guild just COULD NOT for the life of us do it because it seemed there were slight latency issues causing us to take damage or fall when we shouldn’t have been.
After nearly ten tries we finally got it and I felt more accomplished than I ever did with any WoW boss fight.
