What would you rather buy? Base materials or finished product

So I was just wondering what people would rather buy…some examples:

  1. Wheat or flour
  2. Oats or milk
  3. Raw earthyams or cooked
  4. All the parts for a pie or the cooked pie?

You get the idea, trying to see which people would rather buy.

This is really not about the cost just what people want. Some people might want the xp for putting everything all together, some may just want speed. Anyway looking forward to hearing from everyone.

I just want the finished product - pies, brews etc.

consumables, gear : finished,
building materials: half way. for example ink + nails instead of finished sign, compacted metal, instead of machined/ refined

Depending on what i am planning.
And what my exchange shop has available.
Lately i am mostly buying finished products to save time. But if my shop has the reserves, produce products on my own.

The other day I was looking for sweet beans in order to make myself some teaching pies. What I found is that people were selling the equivalent number of pies for cheaper then I could find the beans.

I would love to buy the base materials, but only if its cheaper to do so, which In my case it wasnt.

This for me. Apart from stuff i use in my shop of course.

Due to the huge range of colors and types, i buy 99% of my building materials in their raw forms. Upside of this is that if i don’t use all of it, i can use part of it later to create another building material.
