WHat's the difference between running and sprinting?

I noticed that certain attribute skills, foods, and brews can affect a citizen’s running speed and sprinting speed.

It’s not clear to me what the difference between running speed and sprinting speed is. I either walk or run (or maybe drag myself behind a fast-reeling grapple, which has led to some defeat penalties when trees and rocks get in the way).

Should I assume that I’m always running and sometimes I sprint (in other words, ‘running’ is walking and ‘sprinting’ is running), or have I missed something and there are three movement speeds (walking, running and sprinting)?

well there is creeping, slower walk speed that let you stay in place on sloped ice and slide, and not fall from bloc edges

I can sprint into walls and take damage :joy:

Not sure about whether your on PC or not, but with the ds4 you can vary your speed depending on how much you push the analogue control-stick.

So I always thought of if I push the controller lightly is is walking, then push all the way it is running, then toggle the sprint on or off with the appropriate button! :man_shrugging:

Seriously, analog movement speed?

You PS4 players get all the bells and whistles. All I have is “go” and “go faster”.

This :point_up_2:t4: This right there. Trade all of our “nice” features for the testing servers

Ehhhh, no, I rather keep the analog movement thanks!

Then use a controller on your ‘PC’ and you have the same thing

I didn’t like the feel of the controller on the pc.

Fine just call it a potato.

I totally get that and I had the same thing. But you can get the same feel on PC as on PS4 if you fiddle around with the Steam controller settings. Now they feel exactly the same to me…

Which it is, I know :joy:
