Reached 88 plots, just anted to know if there is a limit or not?
No limit. 
Plots slow down some after level 50 though.

you get to 320 plots at lvl 50 and then earn 10 plots every time you get 200.000 xp and level up (although additional levels won’t register and you will be shown as lvl 50 character)

Numerous players have over 1500 and still rising. You can get massive amounts of plots, it just takes some time.
