What's the point in getting a % of prestige in world?

As the title says, i just want to know if there are any benefits if you make it into the top % of prestige on a particular planet…

If you are number 1 in a settlement, you can set the settlement’s name.

If your settlement is the capital of a planet your settlement icon turns yellow and can be seen from anywhere on the planet.

EDIT: And when you warp to a new world it tells ypu which settlement is the capital.

Theres no real advantage, its more for gameification and the recognition of what you have made. I vistit capitals for shopping but even saying that in beta most of my favourite shops weren’t in the capitals

Meh, and i hoped something like you’ll get a % of the fees that were accumulated on the planet/settlement, which would be a nice motivation to increase the prestige in one’s base. :smiley:

There’s no other added benefit…for now. My guess is that prestige is just the foundational mechanic for what other features or layers they want to add on down the road but they want to see how the community interacts with it before iterating.
