What's your favorite fuel to use and or buy?

I’m thinking of opening a fuel shop in one of the malls, just wondering what types of fuel you guys like to use and or buy.

I sell as much hard coal and compacted hard coal as I can put out. If you have it you can sell it. Everyday my stand can make 500k

I use compacted peat for spark and compacted hard coal for furnaces.

Edit all other compacted coals go to spark too

Yep, I do exactly the same! For spark the speed does not matter, for furnaces it does. And combustion and kindling I have other uses for and never enough of it so those will not be used for fuel!

Is anyone interested in buying compact, coal infused, or enriched combustion ?

After certain post about infused fuels, I think the most worth it is hard coal.

Also you use less hard coal blocks compared to any of the other options

I do the opposite, compacted peat for furnaces, coal for generators :smiley: I farm the peat often myself, buy the coal.

I like to refuel my furnaces by shift clicking the fuel in to it, I’m not rich enough to fill hundreds of furnaces with compact coal so I use peat. If the speed becomes an issue, I just plop down more furnaces.

Spark generators take a beating when fueling with compact peat, you can burn maybe 1mil spark of peat before you have to repair the generator. Because I don’t want to tend a factory more than once a day, peat doesn’t really work for me.

I have 6 spark generator clusters hahaha. And only like 20 furnaces.

Compact medium and hard coal only. I buy lots of compact soft coal too but I use it for roads not spark so don’t go by that haha.
