Where do you go to participate in Gleambow?

I missed the Gleambow races last year. :frowning: Where do i go? How do i do the Races?

Any advice is much appreciated! <3

And it’s only a race to the meteor before the timer runs out. Oh and a race to get the most hits on the meteor over the others around you.

I recommend doing it solo and only going to planets with 5 or fewer people on there that way you won’t be fighting a ton of people.

From midday tomorrow, go to any planet that currently spawns meteors, and when you see a rainbow-tailed meteor, go after it as quick as you can!

oh…thats what it is? :frowning: thats disappointing. I thought is was a fun group activity or something. Oh well.

Well some might say it’s fun to do in a big group. I didn’t do big groups because I wanted to make sure I got the gleam I wanted. Didn’t want to keep missing a color of gleam because I was with others

Or you could do it with a group and spawn bigger meteors = more blocks.

When you go to a meteor ignore mobs and quickly dig yourself under the meteor and quickly break meteor blocks. As soon as you reach 49% you’re golden. When you see a meteor spawn guess where is going to try to get there before it lands the timer is short but with good grapples and speed you can make it easy.

Problem still leaves you with needing to be fast to hit and get there.

You mean so people don’t get blocks? I guess in random groups that’s true but in a private group/cooperative group you could always split the loot so there is no fighting.

Last year I killed mobs while guildy dug the meteor. Worked okay until I realized we could both get under the meteor and ignore mobs.
