Now that it’s required for bricks I’m running around searching for this supposedly ‘common’ blocktype, though I can’t find it after having visited 6 different planets. What locale / altitude are we talking about?
usuall near water, in xa frant as example is a very big mud field nearby to the portal seekers entry
So far I’ve been near water all the time, call me unlucky but it’s usually rocks, sand the occasional peat and silty soil but no mud so far. Thanks I’ll go and try find it on Xa Frant.
can most definitely be found on arie by the giant lustrous trees/forest near water
Sorissi has mud as well as ash near the portal hub.
Starter planets usually have this muddy biome. Flat mud fields with a lot of rosetta nox growing there. It’s just a matter of finding it. Unfortunately I haven’t been saving them locations.
Thanks everyone for responding! I have found the elusive mud. Seems I’ve been going at this on the wrong planet biomes. Although indeed most patches are located near lakes some biomes seem to not have any mud available at all. Antar VI in particular. I checked Xa Frant, Lamblis and Arie, of which Lamblis strangely gave me most of it during my ‘ventures’.
That planet though, oddly has lava instead of water. Does that make sense?
Thanks again for the help!
It’d be nice if you could make mud with the mixer… a bucket of water and a dirt type
Great idea! But then, practically if you go that way… we should be able to make diamonds too. Using compactors with a bunch of power. Right?
Sure why not … hardened coal and the compressor + a ton of power
also wondering why they didnt use Waxy leaf to make wax from the extractor
I tried gathering the soil and building something under water for a few hours, came back and mined it. lol It didnt turn to mud.
