Just to put it out there what do you think about having rare items (assuming the typical mmo system) and above have the ability to be used by someone else even though they have been soulbound, but when not equipped by the soulbound person its a Heirloom version of itself. The heirloom version would could count as a rarity or half a rarity lower and its stats would be adjusted appropriately. That way you can beat your hard boss, and when you’ve grown out of the item you can give it to a friend for better but not thr stats one has to beat the boss for.
so recycle as in removing the soulbind so you can give it to somebody else and recycle as dismantling the items were 2 different things? my bad, i meant not being able to remove the binding. i dont mind at all being able to dismantle the item to get some of the mats.
