Yes and I love hosting events! Just sorry I have been to busy this past year to host alot. There is still so much I hope to do and add, but I didn’t vote on anything @ciprianb because I still play just been busy, but I will say I have talked to people who say most of that.
I have 6 friends who cantor will not because of price and we are on PS not PC.
And the rare times I did get the game for a friend or friends who go it they say there is to much to do or to much grind and it’s overwhelming.
But something you didn’t have in your list and I can tell you (a lot to the point I lost count of how many people say this) IRL has gotten in the way and they can’t play anymore, sometimes when life is better they come back. Then there is some people who work 2 or 3 jobs and have no time to farm stuff all day. Like some of us. And then there is some people like me. (It hurts my wrists if I play to long anymore.) I still play. But it hurts to play for a long time. So I have to switch games amway more or play games that does not take a lot of holding buttons for hours to get what I need and the amount I need. I mean what I say and I am not going anywhere, just have to moderate myself now on what I do. Depends on what I do depends on how long I can play now. But I will ALWAYS be around.
There is so many reasons and yes there is a lot of people who wish the game had updates, but like I have said in game and on my streams. I would worry about it pushing out stuff to fast or to much. I had to quite because how it ended in that fate.
But, I am not saying it would not be nice, I would just hope they would know what they are doing and know what’s best. (Not what they think is best.)
I will stop ranting, I don’t know why I texted this much now seeing how long this got. Sorry lol. And as you read all that. Please no there is no tone in my thoughts that sounded upsetting and hope my message did not come across discouraging. It’s only what I know from my own experience love you all
I play most days, but some days I’m only on for a short time, or I might miss a day here or there because real life intervenes. It’s a game that doesn’t hold you back if there are things you can’t do. Think of how many games have jumping/shooting sections where timing and accuracy are critical - and if you can’t do it, you can’t progress any further. In Boundless, if you can’t grapple or shoot - you can always buy what you need and do the things you can do and enjoy doing.
I used to recommend the game to people like me. However, for many of the reasons stated by so many of you guys above, I no longer do that.
The skill system nearly kept me from playing long term. I don’t know about other new players, but I didn’t feel like I was leveling so much as removing torture devices from my play time. It wasn’t until I hit level 50 that I actually felt like I could get to playing, and then I had 4 more skill sheets to remove the torture from.
To further this, back before reclaim, one of the things to do was to raid expired builds and claim the loot. When reclaim was put in place, James said that they would implement something to take the place of that looting, like dungeons, etc.
I honestly think he said it and then forgot it.
James remind me of a Russian with a big hammer.
“Old Russian proverb. Hit it with hammer and will fix problem.”
He had a bad tendency to take this approach.
