Is that a bug or are there other planets that spawn bricks?
And also refined stone.
They’re naturally spawning POIs, similar to the Stonehenges and gleam Clams and Thrones (etc.) I believe those areas are burial grounds as they look like gravestones.

Ohh the grave theory is way better than mine. I thought they had slid in earthbender style and left a trail of dirt behind.
Now… Who’s brave enough to dig one up? 
um yeah that’s where the growth and orbs are 
if you like to gather orbs slowly
if you dig under the soil beside the regular rock ones (not stone) you will find gleam!
this was the only place to find gleam on Nasharil and Munteen in the early access galaxy.

I felt that way when i first time gathered gleam during alpha beta XD
It looks like a dead Oortians, their body burn to some kind of energy, so the block can glow.
I was really enjoyed digging the grave yard haha
