Most of the crops I actually use in large quantities don’t have an option for farming. I have to gather those, and while gathering those, I just go ahead and gather the small quantities of the farmable crops I need. So there just isn’t any point for me to farm those crops. I do farm Kindling Mass, but that takes forever to grow which is annoying. It also grows inconsistently, and only half my farm seems to ever get ripe at a time. Also annoying.
So mostly, I don’t farm because there isn’t any reason to. Its faster to gather the crops than grow them, and I have to spend a lot of time gathering anyway to get the crops you cannot grow.
